Established in 1977 by Ms Sheila Mark, Sheila's Decorating is one of the genuine gems remaining in the Lower East Side's fabric district.

Sheila's is a complete design establishment, catering to both residential and commercial interiors.  We supply an excellent Interior Design service. In the store at 68 Orchard Street our on staff designers can consult or arrange to visit in clients homes and offices.

Sheila's carries endless luxury fabrics, beautiful trimmings, wide ranges of furniture, wallcoverings and decor. We do customized, pristine upholstery and reupholstery, customized window treatments in hundreds of fashions and tasteful custom made bedding.

Sheila's provides quality furnishings of all kinds, for any individuals taste. We take care of all design needs for a new or old space. We believe in making your surroundings the best they can be for you - affordable, attractive and comfortable.

About Sheila Mark:

Sheila graduated the New York School of Interior Design in 1975. Two years later in 1977, she started a small wallpaper business in a 500 square foot store, on the Lower East Side's Grand Street.

Sheila grew her business successfully, expanding it to a design company providing decorating for both commercial and residential interiors, from start to finish.

Presently, Sheila's Decorating is a 8000 square foot store on Orchard Street, with clientele worldwide. Sheila keeps her store filled with unique fabrics and furnishings of all sorts, offering that touch of class she's become famous for.
